vegan chef challenge

march 1st – 31st

We’re thrilled to join Rockford’s vibrant culinary scene this March as part of the Rockford Vegan Chef Challenge, an initiative presented by Vegan Outreach in collaboration with Vegetarians in Motion. This exciting event invites diners to explore and delight in new vegan options across the city. Our team is proud to contribute to this celebration of plant-based cuisine, offering our own unique creations that artfully blend flavors, textures, and wholesome ingredients.
Chef Turley’s Special Vegan Chef Challenge Menu:
  • Tofu Ssam – A vibrant assembly of cashew satay, pickled carrot, fresno chile, and micro cilantro, creating a symphony of flavors in every bite, priced at $14.
  • Chile Rellenos – A masterpiece featuring mole poblano, chickpea tempura, celeriac al pastor, cashew crema, and pine nut salsa. Each element combines to offer a deep, complex flavor profile, yours for $23.
  • Coconut Cream Brulé – A delicate dessert of silken tofu infused with saffron and cardamom, garnished with pistachio and toasted coconut, offering a sweet finish for $12.

Join Kenzie and Greg as we embark on our next cocktail journey! This time, we take on the windswept islands of Scotland. Though it is not nearly as popular now as it was in years past, Scotch Whisky remains one of the most distinguished and unique spirits in the world. Also, it deserves more love, and we all know it. This go around we will be exploring The Penicillin, the Churchill, and a Royal Balmoral Punch (look it up, it’s delicious).
